Cadaveric spasm is the stiffening ofmuscles immediately after death without being preceded by a stage of primary’ relaxation. Itcommonly involves groups of muscles such as forearmand hands. Butin some cases, when there has beenextreme nervous tension, the whole bodymay be affected. 
Rigor Mortis develop hours (2-3) after death, involve both voluntary and involuntory muscles, occur in all deaths, muscle contraction is less marked andonlymoderate force required to break it.
