• The main toxicity of lignocaine is dose related
nurological effect like drowsiness, nausea, paresthesias, blurring of
vision, disorientation nystagmus, twitching, and fit.
• Lidocaine has practically no proarrhythmic potential and
least cardio toxic antiarrhythmic.
• Only excessive doses cause cardiac depression and
hypotension aild in that condition isoprenaline is given.
• Bopivacaine has higher cardio toxicity than Lidocaine.
