• Vit. D induces bile acid break down in vitro and may have role in protection against colon cancer. 

• Calcium appears to bind bile acids in bowel lumen,inhibiting bile acid induced mucosal damage and perhaps carcinogenesis.

• Nitrosamines are present in food preservative. It may contribute to the induction of gastric carcinoma.
