Acute lead poisoning in children commonly presents with

A. Cerebellar ataxia
B. Status epilepticus
C. Focal neurological deficits
D. increase ICT and papilledema

LEAD-poisoning: - The most serious manifestations of lead poisoning in acute encephalopathy Encephalopathy includes
- Persistent vomiting
- Ataxia - Seizures
- Impaired consciousness
- Coma
• Peripheral neuropathy common in adults, is rare in children
• The symptoms of childhood lead poisoning in the absence of clear signs of encephalogathy are usually nonspecific and vague, Abdominal colic, behavioral abnormalities ,attention disorders , hyperactivity or severe unexplained retardation should lead one to suspect clinical lead poisoning.

• Chronic intoxication can cause learning disorders (children) and motor neuropathy (eg. Wrist drop)
