— Kassabach-Merritt syndrome (giant capillary hemangioma).
— HELLP syndrome (hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, low platelets).
• In hemolytic anemia, peripheral smear consists of:
— Reticulocytes — Anisocytosis (variation in size)
