In acute hepatitis-B, hepatocytes shows ground glass apperance. Councilmann or acidophil bodies also seen in acute hepatitis. Mallory bodies seen in alcoholic hepatitis,primary biliary cirrhosis, Wilson’s disease ,chronic cholestatic syndrome, and hepatocellular tumor. In Reys syndrome hepatocytes shows microvesicular fatty infiltration.
