Cadaveric spasm is the stiffening of muscles immediately after death without being preceded by a stage of primary’ relaxation. It commonly involves groups of muscles such as forearm and hands. But in some cases, when there has been extreme nervous tension, the whole body may be affected.
• Rigor Mortis develop hours (2-3) after death, involve both voluntary and involuntory muscles, occur in all deaths, muscle contraction is less marked and only moderate force required to break it.
