lies in abdomen.
• The ureter passes downwards and
slightly medially on the psoas major muscle and enter pelvis by crossing in

or true pelvis, ureter at first runs downwards and slightly backward and
laterally following the anterior margin of greater sciatic match opposite the
ischial spine it turns forwards and medially to reach base of bladder.
• Ureters
lie deep to the peritoneum closely
applied to posterior abdominal wall in the upper part and to the lateral pelvic
wall in lower part.
