‘Tracking’ of blood pressure -If blood pressure levels of individuals were
followed up over a period of years from early childhood to adult life, then
those individuals whose pressure were initially high in the distribution, would
probably continue in same ‘track’ as adult. This phenomenon called ‘tracking’.
It is useful in identifying children and adolescent ‘at risk’ of developing
hypertension at a future date.
