tuberculosis formerly accounted for cerebral infarcts ; infectious vasculitis
in now more commonly seen in setting of
immunosuppression and opportunistic infections (such as toxoplasmosis,
apergillosis and CMV encephalitis).
• Mucor and aspergillus frequently cause vasculitis.
