essential features of A.R. Pupil:
- Bilaterally symmetric
- Meiosis
- Poor dilation in darkness.
- Absence or marked impairment of light reflex.
- Relative preservation of near response (light-near
dissociation)
- Pupil may be irregular due to iris damage and shows
impaired dilation to mydratic drugs
• Pseudo Argyll -Robertson Pupil is seen in aberrant degeneration of 3rd nerve
