In Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis (ABPA), upper lobes are most likely
to be affected for unknown reasons. ABPA occurs in atopic asthmatic
(particularly Glucocorticoid dependent) individuals of age 20-40 years.
Sometimes, may present without previous history of Asthma. It can occur in
non-Asthmatic individuals, e.g. cystic fibrosis.
