Ans. (A) Progestrogens ; (B) Danazol :
• The treatment of dysfunctional uterine bleeding depends upon
(i) Age of patient
(ii) Fertility, desire for children
(iii) Degree of anaemia
(iv) Response to curretage.
• Under 40 yrs. the treatment is essentialy conservative.
• Progesterone, Danazol is given in young woman desirous of child bearing. Danazol is androgenic and not recommended as a drug of choice in young womand when hormone therapy falls, Ca and genital tuberculosis, (D and C) is required in young woman when hormone therapy fails.

* Endometrial ablation is cantraindicated in young woman.
