A. Anterior dislocation is common

• In injuries about hip:-

1. Fracture of femur of neck 

2. Dislocation of hip 

3. Avulsion fracture of lesser  trochanter.

• There are three main types of dislocations of hip 

(i) Posterior dislocation (the commonest) 

(ii) Anterior dislocation 

(iii) Central fracture-dislocation
